Didn't watch race: Farah and Kogo have same agent - Those that watched, any chance that Kogo let him win?

They might be on the same PEDs but I don't think that Kogo let him win.59:32 is probably about what Kogo is capable of, given, as it appears, he went out too fast. Farah also has the better kick. I doubt very much there was any collusion. At least today....

Farah is the endorsement king of running.

This is more like the equivalent of a starter turning into a dominant superstar, an MVP, and over a period of 4 years. Jeremy Lin was a star for about ten or fifteen games. (he's shown that ability off the bench at times for the Lakers this year, but I am convinced that he needs the ball to be a star and if you give him a team, he will do the same thing he did for the Knicks before Carmelo came back). A much better parallel in basketball would be Steve Nash. He was drafted and traded, was behind two point guards in Phoenix, then became a starter and a good player in Dallas, and then back in Phoenix he became dominant and won back to back MVP's, ultimately retiring third all time in assists after a few injury-plagued seasons.

Those guys averaged low 4:30's for 13.1 miles on a pretty hot day and ran the fastest time ever run by a European in the half marathon. Farah clearly paced himself better and also has more pure speed so it makes sense that he would outkick him.

The pacer had them on low 57's pace for the first 8k and they dropped Farah.

There would have been much easier ways for them to collude.

The easy way was taken. The front runners ran for the WR prize. They failed. Mo ran for a sub 60 PR, but not to win. Kogo knew that WR was out, as was the rest of the field. At that point it became about which order of finishing would result in the maximum profit for the team- and agent-mates. The correct max profit order was the end result of the race.

Salazar and Shorter live in the U.S.

Farah is a "European" who's permanent residence is in the U.S., but who is out of the country most of the year. He is rarely in Europe.
