I ran 4:46 last week for 1600 and then 10:04 yesterday for 3200. My run about 40 mpw and I'm a junior and last year was my first year of cross country and I ran 17:11. I'm running a 5k in a couple weeks...what can I run?

Wild guess: you can run 5k. Maybe 6k on a good day.
Take care.

Hilarious.
Your 3200 indicates very good endurance given your 1600 time. I think mid- high 16's probably anywhere from 16:30-16:59 at the best and low 17s at the worst. Depends on conditions.

Was the 16:26 the xc season before that track season? And was it on a grass hilly xc course?
