1. FedEx Field - Soulless dump. Horrible location.
2. New Yankee Stadium - See OPs post. It's just a testament to greed all around.
3. Norfolk Scope - Horrible lighting (since improved). Dark. Dreary. Weird angles.
4. Hovey Field (Richmond, VA). Football field for Virginia Union University. It may have been the day I was there, as it was pouring down rain, but you are in the hood and the visitors stands are made of wood that is probably 50 years. Seriously, I've seen middle school stadiums that were better
5. Any soccer stadium in CONCACAF other than the Azteca (Mexico City) or in the USA. Been to a few for USA World Cup Qualifiers. Seriously, they are all dumps. The stadiums are all old and in need of repair, have almost no amenities, shady bathrooms and are pain in the butt to get into/out of.
The field is horrible. Think of a cow-pasture and that is what it's like. You basically have no idea where the ball is going to bounce. Regardless of all the things above, the fans are awesome and some of the best to hang out with before, during and after games. The only place they hate you during the game is in Mexico..imagine bags of urine being thrown at you, batteries, bottles, etc. You're escorted into and out of the stadium by armed guards as visiting fans. Again though, after the game, the fans are fun to hang out with.
