Hi,
I am almost forty. I run regulary, around 6 days, covering 40 to 50 miles. Now doing mostly long slow distance running as I am base building. I do other exercises as well, 2-4 times of HIIT training at the gym (like grit strength, plyometrics, etc). I do push ups several times per day, I also try to do some short ab routines several times per week. I have strong and muscular legs, my upper body (upper abs, chest, shoulders) and arms are very well defined and toned, but when it comes to my lower abs...almost nothing. And to add to that, I have a considerable love handle for my weight and frame (139 lb, 5'8'').
How to train my lower abs? and how can I reduce my love handles? It is purely aesthetics concern and I am generally very happy with my fitness level.
