Self-righteous narcissism at its best. A room filled with 'genuises' and 'visionaries'--one big formal circle jerk. These jokes make how much money and what have they contributed to society? Oh, because it's "art"?
Gimme a break. Pathetic

Been a while since you got laid brah?
Thanks for your insightful observation. Some of us have only heard or read it 45 times already this week, so thanks for #46.
They have contributed entertainment to society.
Imagine a society with no entertainment.
Can we assume that you do not view any movies?
That's a really cool opinion, bro.
But you can't stop watching, eh?
Short of putting the globetrotters on the stage, you couldn't shoehorn any more diversity to combat the lack of nominations .

Huh? There were plenty of nominations.
At least two dozen bozos on the show tonight went to Crossroads HS in Santa Monica.
Everything is fake in Hollywood. Nothing is real. Not even the people. Just all a big make-believe act. If you thought otherwise, then you're the fool.
They like a movie about some worthless washed-up actor because that's what the Academy basically is.
The "best picture" is the #17 best picture at the Box Office. Even if you throw out American Sniper on politics, there are 15 more that their customers like better.

How much did #1-15 cost to make? It's true they've given awards to some pretty average movies.
The industry definitely has some royal a--hol-s in front and behind the camera. Like all sufficiently large businesses, there's a range of people. The ones leading pretty ordinary lives off camera just don't attract the weird attention.
The scarcity of money also does some funny things.
The pre-event interviews with actors and actresses reveal them to be shallower and more self-important than most pro athletes.
Just figuring that out?
Awards shows are just big long commercials for whatever the product maybe. The idea that one movie should get an award over another is laughable.
What evidence do you have that Eddie Redmaybe or JK Simmons or Michael Keaton, just to name a few, are "left wing?"

Bunch of self centered, narcissistic left wing cretins who think the World revolves around them....They are actors...People who pretend to be someone else....Is that worthy of adulation?
They've got you talking about them.
