He obviously means the indoor mile record of 3:48.45. I agree he could beat that.
All the indoor records 1500 on up are up for Mo's consideration, except possibly Komen's 7:24.

except that's widely considered one of if not the most impressive records in track & field; more so than Koman's outdoor 3k record

Have you not been reading the boards? Indoor times are faster than outdoor times.
No one is touching 7:24. Komen is the GOAT.

That's why he said except the 7:24.....f'tard.
I don't understand the logic of an athlete encouraging another athlete to break his record. It seems strange to me. I know Bubka encouraged Lavillenie as well, and I'm curious what others here on the boards think of this.
This thread is red hot on letsrun. It must be February 22nd.

Yawn. El G and Mo are way to inconsistent. It took El G 3 tries to finally win an Olympic Final. I would have never paid him for representing Nike. Way to inconsistent. Boo.
It makes you look noble and doesn't really affect the outcome. Basically PR insurance.

Indoor track are just as fast as outdoor
Why is Komen's indoor 7:24 superior compared to his outdoor 7:20? I'd still say his outdood is better...
