Amazing that no Hoka athlete has done much since signing with them.

Tells us about the time you ran a 3:30:98 for 1500M?
First year to really pick anyone up besides Leo. Have Torrence, merber, Emmanuel, etc. Really wish them the best. Nice to see some non Nike folks.

Yes, for a big 8th-place in Monaco? Manzano has had more dud races than big races in the last 2 years. Many of the people they have signed are on the downturn of their career. Torrence? C'mon.
In two years hoka athletes will RULE the running world.

Until then, be quiet.
Hokas allow at least a 10-20% higher mileage volume with reduced injury risk. Time will tell on how that affects running at the upper levels. For an old man trying hard, it's like taking decades off my legs.

Tell us about the national title you won at the USTAF last year?
“I run 70-80 miles a week, which is extreme, and I was suffering from extreme issues,” he said. “So I need extreme support.”
Another "specialty" brand is ON. I've been running in the cloud surfer for over a year now with zero injuries. Had chronic knee tendonitis. These shoes saved my running. Check them out!

Another unsupported statement that wouldn't even pass as an educated opinion outside of this ridiculous discussion board.
I ordered my first pair of Hokas yesterday (had been considering it for a long while) and am very excited to see if they help with some recent running "hiccups."
It is really disappointing that people feel the need to trash something that "isn't necessarily for them." I saw a lot of that with the barefoot/Vibram fad, and while I will admit that trend was probably just as damaging as useful, explain to me why someone who has no need to try Hokas would speak against them? If your Nike trainers let you run 90 miles a week with your sub 14 5k, more power to you. We all need something different.
Leo's stock continues to take a huge hit. He's scratching the bottom of the barrel now. Perhaps he shouldn't ahve carried that Mexican flag around when competing as an AMERICAN!

Your need for big shoes wasn't really my argument now, was it? Try to read AND comprehend what was written
Hoka's what in NY Times??
I've posted many times on this board about Hoka's and how I wear them. I got my first pair of Stinson Evos in late 2011 because a friend of mine recommended them.
I have had luck with them. They work for me. I will continue to use them.
The truth is no one brand or model of shoe will work for everyone. You have to figure out what works for you. If it's minimalist, then do it. If it's maximalist, then do it.
People seem to forgot that getting Hokas 2 to 3 years ago was almost impossible. Sites like Running Warehouse would get them in and be sold out within the same day. Their was maybe one or two other online retailers that would have them, like Boulder Running Company and it was the same type of thing, very limited selection due to popularity. You didn't seem them at running speciality stores. I have often wondered if Hoka intentionally drove up demand by not producing that many shoes on purpose or if the were simply too small production wise to meet demand. Maybe a little of both?

Wow, you are really catching on to this capitalism thing!
