Trying to figure out what is causing me to have a significantly different wear pattern between my right shoe and left. Essentially the right shows a lot more wear over the entire shoe, but in particular in the forefoot. I've tried both a neutral shoe and a stability shoe, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm a relatively light runner (5'9", 130lbs) and I have fairly high, rigid arches. I have chronic problems with insertional achilles tendonitis in my right foot (the side that shows more wear on the shoe) and now I'm having hamstring problems on that side as well. Wondering if I have a muscle imbalance somewhere or maybe even a leg length discrepancy, although when I've been checked in the past I've been told I do not. Just trying to figure this out so I can enjoy running again.
