Texas!!!
California by far, just look at the results from Footlocker.
NY- Boys teams took 1-4-7 at Nike?
Girls teams are among the best.
How would it look if someone used Speed Ratings to combine FL and Nike?

Maybe in the sprints, but NY and Cali have Texas beat for sure in the distance events.

California beats Texas in the distances, but, if looking at overall runners - sprinters, distance, long sprinters, relays, hurdles - Texas kicks everyone's azz.
kentucky by far we have the history best in xc forsure
Kentucky is definitely the best look up Daviess County Highschool
Michigan does this year. They may not have the most depth, but the guys at the top are as good as any state. Fisher, Brazier, Wetzel etc.
If you looked at it per captia, there is no way it is not Michigan.

I'd be willing to bet MN would be better per capita.
Michigan has the second-most Foot Locker boys championships (7) of all states, only one behind California (which won several in the first 10-15 years of the event...and has since trailed off). This is despite having just a quarter of CA's population. For some reason when MI has a kid that is a legitimate contender, he wins. The only exception was poor Todd Williams, who ran 14:49 at Balboa back in the 80s and lost by 11 seconds Marc Davis!

Agree this year it is Michigan. Last year Iowa and Washington were outstanding. This is per capita.
This year it's Michigan. Can't say much about who's the best on a regular basis though
this year its Michigan historically NY always has a really high quantity of very good athletes but generally not the type to win nationals kind of calibre where cali and texas have I would say less elite runners but the outstanding ones are better
On a per capita basis, it has to be Washington.
You can't take team results from FL as data. The teams from CA are diluted due to their sheer number. Look at the top individuals and depth without looking at teams.
It's California. Year round running and a giant population. It's that simple.
