#21 Malcolm Butler won the game for them. How in God's name could he not be the MVP?

If Brady didn't throw 4 to passes, Butler wouldn't have had a chance to win the game for them.
Brady threw two picks, if not for that they would have won easily. He is overrated, Wilson outplayed him until the last play of the game.
TE MVP is league payback for the deflated football mess, backroom deal with the little Napoleon midget Kraft.
He better give that truck to Pete Carroll

Malcolm Butler didn't put up 14 points on the final 2 drives to win put them ahead. Pretty sure butler also gave up that long pass to get Seattle down there anyways
Julian Edelman should have been the MVP, he played out of his mind

Uh, that was a pretty big 'last play of the game.'
I was just thinking "why the hell was Brady MVP?"
2 picks. 1 in the endzone. Super costly. If the Seahawks punch it in from the 1, everyone is saying how Brady's 2 INTs cost them the game. Instead he's MVP?
It kind of reminds me of the Nike Oregon Project. When they hand out the MVP awards, Nike gives it to Mo Farah or Galen Rupp, not the thyroid doctor at a minimum (PED doctor if you believe they are over the 'grey line').
If Marshawn Lynch gets the ball and scores he has over 100 yards and 2 TD's and possible MVP. Would have been fun to see what he would say in the postgame interviews or if he would have said I'm going to Disneyland.
Why are you Americans always outraged? Are you actually outraged, or are you maybe confused, perplexed, or in disagreement with?
Calm the fvck down.
Brady put them in position to win. He had the lead touchdown. He never gave up despite throwing some interceptions. A worthy MVP, IMO.
MVP= most valuable player
Who provided more value to the Patriots than Brady? Nobody.

Are you joking? Yes, Brady threw two picks. Brady also went 37 for 50, a 74% completion percentage, for 328 yds and 4 tds. He played the THE best defense in the NFL. This is a great performance. He also lead a pass heavy offense to two consecutive TD drives AFTER the second INT. That's composure. You guys are just plain wrong. One great play doesn't trump setting a Superbowl record for completions and throwing for 300+ yards with 4TDs including a go ahead drive in the 4th quarter.

Bwahaaaaaaa... Exactly.
Whoever was responsible for calling Seattle's final play is the game MVP for New England.Worst play call in the history of football.
Tom Brady as MVP was a no brainer.
Just lost a lot of respect for the co-founders of this website. Just didnt realize you were that unintelligent. There was not an overwhelming favorite for MVP but Brady was by far the most deserving. Not Butler who made one good pick (even though it happened during a crucial time). I agree Brady's first pick was awful but he fueled the Pat's to the win more than any other member of that Patriots team (besides Bill).
Brady probably already had too many votes by the time the Butler play even happened.

Totally, Tom Brady played ok; Edelman was good, but Butler won the game - each Patriot should give him a little $$$ bonus!!!!! The replay from behind the endzone was excellent; the only way he makes that play from 3-4 yards off the line of scrimmage is to sprint to the ball and he beat the receiver by a split second and after hitting the receiver was still able to hold onto the ball - if he drops the ball, the Seahawks win the game.
