I measured my running strides today while running along the water at an easy 8 minute pace over 30 minutes and was around +/- 48" per stride at this effort. I am right under 6' in height. I am wondering if I should try to increase my stride length or increase my cadence to run faster workouts? I think if I tried this stride length and pace for over an hour it wouldn't be easy anymore. How should I proceed as a beginner?
