We should ban those energy squeeze things if they are dangerous for the athletes.
Some things are not just banned for performance enhancement in an unnatural way but also if they can be dangerous as a general practice.
You don't want to endorse extracting your blood, storing it and re-injecting it.
Too many things can go wrong.
Because it's a freakin' creepy, vampirish, sub-human thing to do. Anyone who would blood dope would do *anything* to win, up to and including murdering their own grandma. These people should not be permitted to participate in anything good in life.
Back in the day I also heard that there wasn't equal access to safe blood transfer- the safety/health issue.
