1200s run at 63/lap
Given the guy is asking to a prediction on letsrun and the recovery, its safe to assume that is at the best 3k pace for him. It sounds like OP raced his workout rather than doing it properly. Additionally, 13:20 runners would NOT post their workouts on letsrun or other forms of social media if they are approaching a race.
Finally, my BS meter seems to be going off here
If the workout is seriously legit: 3:56 (and this is why I'm calling BS)
If the OP raced this workout: 4:08, if not worse (implying the 1200s were just slower than mile race pace and he sprinted the 200s/400s)
In reality: 4:20 (people are notorious for making themselves look better on letsrun). it wouldn't surprise me if every part of that workout was exaggerated by 4 seconds per lap
Lol thanks bud, I guess actually being fast on LRC is taboo, nice to know for the future. Sorry for being friendly and being curious about other people's opinions. I guess in the future I'll just stick with asking my coach's opinion on these matters which I clearly should have done in the first place...
...He predicted 4:01 by the way. Due mainly to inexperience racing at the D1 level, says I have sub-four fitness but that it's a tough barrier to break your first time around.
