Who?
I'm a fan of both but this was kinda lame. Wish they would've picked a better workout to film.
I couldn't disagree more. I think at altitude this was an impressive workout. 2:35 for the 4th 1k at altitude? That's fast. Moreover I think this is a really good workout for this time of year and to prepare for a 1500. These guys are clearly very fit.
My only qualm - what was the recovery? I'm guessing 2-3mins for the 1ks and then closer to 1-2mins for the 400s. Would be interested to hear what others thought, or would prescribe for that workout? [Bit runner geeky I know, but where else would you ask that!?]

From the description
"4x1000m, 2-3 min recovery
400m jog recovery/ switch shoes
4x 400m, 60 sec recovery"
...good guess?
Anybody know what track they were on? Pretty nice for a high school or even college track.

The Sedona Scorpions
That's a savory workout. I enjoyed it. Makes up for about 1/8 of the 45,227 beer mile posts.

Yeah, they should have done this all as a Tough Mudder/spartan/commando, with gunfire, barbed wire, tapeworms and tear gas.
O'Lionard loves himself. What a douchbag.
Did Flotrack get the school's permission to ride a bike on the track?
If O'Lionard and Blankenship showed up and some random guy were riding a bike on the track, would they think it was okay?
The Sedona Track is not actually owned by the school, but by the city, on adjacent land. The City's Chamber of Commerce love the publicity that elites bring to the town by coming to Sedona to train on their famous track. I'm sure they would be more than happy to have a cameraman use a bike if it means the city/track is getting international coverage.

-I know your type, and it equally confuses and disgusts me.
