I randomly developed knee pain after an easy run and core session that included squats which I do a couple times a week. The squats were body weight and correct form. It hurts very bad to walk but feel NO pain when running. I didn't run anyways, but seems worse now from inactivity. I've never had knee pain before so I'm stumped. I've iced and taken alleve. A couple days off as well.
It hurts along the outside of the patella tendon.
What could be going on? The trainer was weirded out. I'd honestly rather have it the other way, I have to walk to class and it hurts horribly. I haven't increased my mileage and running shorter runs right now.
