I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to handle this pain in my upper-Achilles/lower-calf. It starts to hurt as soon as I start my warm-up and is persistent throughout my workout and cool-downs. I ice it every night and there is no progress in recovery. Also, I foam roll which seems to help a little, but it is not doing the job. Can anyone help me with ideas on how I can get this fixed?

What does the MRI show? Obviously, if this is a tear you need rest at the very least...
Heating! Not everyone likes it but heating! You get these bath salts and put it in a five gallon pail and pipe that baby full of hot water. Stir her up and enjoy a book while your muscles repair and recover. Also if you aren't doing any drills before running I would do so.
What type of mileage are you running a week? Also what event are you focusing on?
Don't go to physical therapy. Heating will work probably. Just be careful. Your shoes may have too many miles on them, but I doubt it.
Delaying TX hardly EVER works and can lead to prolonged recovery and tendinopathy. Contrast therapy with alternating heat and ice would be most appropriate if it is in the tendon.
