Does anyone have any experience with Baxter's nerve entrapment.
After treating for PF for moths with no relief, a MRI showed atrophy of the abductor digiti muscle which my podiatrist says is diagnostic for Baxter's nerve entrapment.
He gave me a cortisone shot under the skin where I have pain and put me in a walking boot. He hopes we will be able to control it conservatively but said the literature suggests it most often requires surgery. He said it's pretty rare and he has only seen it a handful of times in his career. He did say the surgery is pretty straightforward
Has anyone had success with conservative treatments? What was your outcome?
