I was out of running with a stress fracture for 10 weeks. When I was cleared to run, I built up a base with only easy mileage for 4 weeks. Following this period,I started workouts which I've been doing for about 4 weeks. I ran an indoor mile today in 5:33 after a hard week of practice. I won by about 10 seconds, so I essentially was running alone. I've also been struggling with my weight and I feel like it's negatively affecting my running. I'm at 140 and I wanna get down to 125.
How much faster could I be for outdoor if I lost 10-15 pounds and got another solid 2 months of running under my belt??
