I bet he'd get his little scrawny pot smoker butt kicked by anyone from Sarah Palin to Ben Carson. I doubt he could even hit the hobby-jogger standard of 35 minutes.
Thoughts?

Has nothing to do with pot. He used to smoke cigarettes. I know a lot of cig smokers who used to be very athletic. It's deceiving and invisible and surprising how bad shape they become in. It basically destroys your lungs and leaves do much toxin in your body. He would be in trouble at 600m. Seriously. Don't smoke cigs kids!

True, the cigarettes probably do more damage, but he did smoke pot. Just read Dreams From My Father. Lungwise the cigarettes are going to be worse, but the pothead mentality is what would destroy him in a 5k.
Chances are instead of putting in the work to run well, he'd just take credit for someone else's good performance.
I know of two Colorado State High School Champs who got baked every morning before school, and then again after practice. One was later a D2 All-American-though I believe in college he stopped the heavy pot smoking. As daily smokers, both of these guys ran 15:30s at 5000 feet altitude. Our school had several others who also imbibed and ran successfully. It's kind of a cultural thing with southern Colorado Hispanics. This predated by several decades Colorado's current experiment with legalization.I don't think dope smoking is as bad for you as is communicated by Nancy Reagan and the Reefer Madness movie.

Yeah he tried to do that with my marathon, damn liberal!

He is Kenyan after all. Plus, he's Moslem and as Farah has proven God favors Moslem distance runners.
These may be true, but if so they are extreme examples. Pot smoking is bad for you.
He would get awarded a prize for the win before the race even starts, the stated reason being his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between runners."
Obama would score a dnf then blame republicans for his failures
Have you ever seen him play bball? He's a decent athlete. And he's not carrying any extra weight and this is just 5k. I say he could go 26 today and could work down to 21 with training. Palin I'm sure would easily trounce hm over 13.1 but he'd win on talent alone for 3.1.
No, but I saw him throw out a first pitch (with mom jeans on for some reason) and it was ugly. Not a decent athlete.

LOL. A decent athlete? This pansy? He has sucked at every thing he had ever done.
Athletics:
He bowled a 29.
He missed like 28 of 30 shots shooting a basketball.
He sucks at golf.
You seem coming down from Air Force One. His limp-wrists going up and down. The guy is a flake.
Non-athletics:
He needed Affirmative Action to get into college
He has to have his grades hidden.
He published NOTHING a editor of Harvard Review.
He pretends to be a Constitutional Professor when he was a college lecturer and wouldn't know the constitution if it hit him in the backside.
He was a drug dealer. And please don't say he gave up cigarettes. He still is smoking and I am pretty sure he doing cocaine in the White House.
In a 5K he would be at the very front with great fanfare. At the gun he would take off sprinting and go to the front. By 400 meters he would begin slowing down already out of breath. He would make it to the first mile in about 8 minutes. He would be walking in the second mile. The third mile he would be walking then take of sprinting for like 30 meters. He would finish in about 35 or 36 minutes with a sprint at the end and a big smile on his face like he accomplished something. He would then go find the nearest port-a-potty and snort some crack.
