Apologies to the other guys who started threads. I needed this to be the real one as I'd put it up on the HP.
From the flags on top o fthe building, it certainly looks windy. THe wind is clearly a cross wind right now and should say that way the whole time.
Take a look at the course map. It's pretty amazing. Talk about 'out and back'
No biggie. Thanks for posting the target split for the half. I was about to ask it had been mentioned
A lot of kenyans named Pace, is that their new favorite name?

That's 2:01:39 marathon pace. Of course 3:00 is 2:06:35 so if Bekele is somewhere in between there he'd be ok.
2:57 is 2:04:28 and 2:56 is 2:03:46.
They picked it up on that last k, 2:55. Bekele looks good, but again, it's super early.

The announcer said it's 14 celsius which converts to 57.2 F.
By the looks of Bekele's kit, I'm guessing Nike hasn't re-signed him?

I think his bib is partially obscuring the swoosh in the upper left (upper right on the camera) of his jersey. His shorts still have the swoosh.
it honesty pisses me off how smooth these guys make a 2:55k look. what the f***
The race starts in less than 10 minutes. Some are speculating it's too hot.

Goodness...I couldn't imagine a course like that. Staring straight ahead for so long...So mentally taxing. Like being on a treadmill.
