Was it just a road race on 1/25? If that's the case then keep running. Build your base mileage over this winter. Just because you don't have any races doesn't mean you should be getting lax. IMO the off seasons are the most important in regards to training.

No it's a track race...(Indoor Track)
Take Time Off Between Indoor and Outdoor?! I would recommend not taking any time off. Indoor is such a short season and should not have burned you out in anyway. If you are feeling good, just jump into Outdoor training. If you aren't feeling too great then you could take a couple of rest days or have a couple of recovery runs to let your legs recover from Indoor but I would not recommend taking more than a few days off. Taking too much time off right now may hurt your Outdoor success.
How many days have you taken off in the last month?
How many miles have you run each week during that month?
If your answer is 0 or 1 days off and you ran 50+ mpw, you need to think about taking an easy week with a couple nonconsecutive days off and the rest easy 3 mile runs which include a few easy strides.
If you think you had a really good or really bad season, I think I would take the easy week I described. As a senior, I had a great winter season and kept working really hard through Feb. I had a great April but I did too much, got sick and May was a flop.
If you mostly only run 5 or 6 days a week, I would not change that in Feb.
