So let's run posters, I am going to leave this to you and your expertise as to where things stand.
In March, I will be 41. For the last 10 years, I have run races of various distances from 3 mile to marathon.
Over the last year, I have focused more seriously on the marathon in hopes of possibly qualifying for Boston at a satellite marathon in 2015 for a Boston race in 2016 or 2017.
I have been able to bump up training mileage to where I can suitably do 13-16 miles in a long run.
My last training half-marathon (on 1/10--not a race) was in 1:49:37
I have also been training to where I can maintain 5 miles at about a 7:12 clip and 10 miles at a 7:25-7:30 clip.
If I keep up this kind of improvement, by an early summer marathon, do I have a chance of making the 3:10 I need for a BQ?
Thanks
