I completely agree. It is high time that the federal government become more active in the governing of the professional sports leagues. I think our Congressional leaders have been shirking their duty to provide legislative guidelines to the sporting world. If Congress had been actively involved I seriously doubt the steroid scandal(s) would have materialized. I understand that the budget concerns and foreign policy issues need some attention but the time must first be spend policing the various sports leagues. Sports are, after all, the reason we have government.

The NFL is such a joke. A bazillion dollar business has each team supply their own footballs for the games?!? Whose Mom was in charge of bringing the halftime snacks? Maybe the Pats but moldy bread on the Colts pb&j.
