The Rod McCravy Memorial in Lexington Kentucky will have one of the top college races of the weekend at 800m:

1 Schnulle, Ryan JR Florida (1:46.29)

Silver medalist at 2014 NCAA outdoors

2 Grethen, Charles SR Georgia (1:47.22)

3 Rono, Patrick SR Arkansas (1:46.46)

4th at NCAA Outdoor Nationals 2014: 2013 SEC outdoor 1500m champ

4 Arroyo, Andres SO Florida (1:47.57)

6th fastest HS 800m runner ever

5 McAsey, Joe JR Illinois (1:47.73)

6 Franzmair, Niki FR Oregon (1:46.73)

7 Neal, Keffri SR Kentucky (1:46.39)

3rd at NCAA Out Nats 2014: SEC indoor 800 and out 1500m champ

8 Jones, Xavier Unatt.1 (pace)

Should be a very good SEC showdown.

This will be the most competitive indoor 800m race in NCAA this indoor season, as Rono and Neal may run the mile at Nats.

Looking foorward to this early season race. The SEC has most of the 800m talent in college this year. This should be a good one. Is the Lexington track fast?

that field's as good as it gets indoors. Interesting to see whether Arroyo shows some progress in his second year in college.

Arroyo was pretty good last year 1:47, but I think Ryan Schnulle should take this one

I'm calling bullsheet on Niki franzmair's seed time. Where did this 1:46 come from? While he may have prov d he can run with the best (by getting in the fast heat). To get into the fast heats you usually have to have a previous time (ncaa). On top of that if it isn't from the previous year., to bad you go to one of the slower heats (even if you have a faster time on record). Obviously he legit, but the only reason he was in that heat was because he is from oregon.
