I'm sick of everyone saying this guy is really smart. He got a 990 on his SAT, that is slightly above average for the old test.
He is just NOT a complete idiot like many of his peers. His relative value is through the roof.

"Don't you ever talk about me! Don't you open your mouth about the best, or I'm going to shut it for you really quick!" Now I'm going to cry to my MOMMY, who will actually respect me.
Sherman has obvious self esteem issues that are concerning. Every other month he's arguing with some athlete on twitter who won't give him the praise he desires. Plus the whole Skip Bayless thing.
He's no Darrelle Revis.
Men, don't need to be smart when you are arguably the best defensive back in the league.
To the guy who brought up Bayless.....Skip is the worst.

I agree. Skip's the ultimate troll. He's good at what he does (trolls). Sherman took the bait hard though & took way too big of a bite out of that meat. It was comical at first to see such a fool fall, but then Sheman got ugly.
A little bite of the meat is OK, now & then, but Sherman went overboard & just gobbled that meaty bait worm right up because he wanted a little attention & feeling of self worth. There's a word for people like that.
I like Sherman but part of is starting to want to see Blount truck him in the Super Bowl.
but I know what entertainment is...and Sherman is fun to watch, both on the field and off...Smart or not, he is the best DB in the league.
Can't wait to see what he does with Brady this year...the "you mad, bro" line is classic.
Forget the fact that he graduated from Stanford with a 3.9 GPA because that is easy right? You all are ridiculous...He a "Thug" too right?
A gummy bear can get a 3.8 GPA in black studies, comm or whatever other major he probably pursued

Where he got the 3.9 means nothing. You are also one of the ridiculous people in this thread.

Jock-track degrees don't count for shit, even @ Stanford. You believe he went from 990 SAT to becoming a peer with all the Stanford 3.9's? You are ridiculous.
All football players are stupid.
If a NCAA football player uses all their eligiblity, how many semesters did they go to school.
SPRING High School (enroll in college for spring football)
Spring 1
Summer 2
RED SHIRT SEASON
Fall 3
Spring 4
Summer 5
.
FRESHMAN
Fall 6
Spring 7
Summer 8
SOPHMORE
Fall 9
Spring 10
Summer 11
JUNIOR
Fall 12
Spring 13
Summer 14
SENIOR
Fall 15
Spring 16
The typical college student take only 8 semesters (fall and spring for 4 years). They go to college twice as long, yet still many don't graduate. And the fact that some football player with average intelligence get more that one degree, I would hope so.
Counting summers is a pretty big assumption.
Many football players (or 3rd graders) can form sentences better than you too.

This. And if they're not, they will be soon.
Not going to get into Sherman, but GPA and school mean absolutely nothing for NCAA D1 football players. Big universities go to true extremes to get their athletes through the system. My 4th grade education was more intense than what many "student"-athletes experience in college. I've seen it with my own eyes. Anyone who doesn't understand this is simply ignorant.
Sherman is extremely smart and I am saying that even though I don't like the guy.
He may or may not be book smart but he makes sure that everyone knows his name which has made him more marketable. How many DBs does the average NFL fan know? Not that many. He has made it so partially because of his play and partially because of how his mouth, you know him. He is popular enough that he is now the Campbell's soup guy as well as on the cover of Madden 2015. That doesn't happen without his brains to get himself in the media.
I hate people that act like he does at times but financially, he is smart to do it.

True.
So you too equate wealth with intelligence.
Those dumbfvcks splitting atoms at CERN can't hold a mental candle to Richard Sherman.
