So the name kind of explains it, but I'll add more. I'm a junior in HS, recently ran 15:40 for the XC 5k, and have just finished my base training for track and am beginning workouts. For awhile I was doing 12 mile long runs, but for track (I'm training for the 3200 primarily, PR 9:55, shooting for sub 9:30 this year) I began doing 13 mile long runs for my base training. This week was my last week, and so my bottom line question is based off of my PRs, how long should my long run be for:
-XC (5K) base training
-XC during the season
-Base training for 3200m in track
-During track season
