Clear as day that no football move was made and it popped loose when he went to the ground. Couldn't be an easier call by the rulebook. I don't understand that uproar.

Ball hit the ground & popped out of his hands. They made the right call.
I hate the cowboys but that was a bullshit call.

I like the Cowboys, and that was the right call the way the rule is written. Maybe the rule should be changed.
How? Do you not understand the rule or did you not see the play?

I could get on board with changing the rule.
Can't believe I'm even arguing this but Bryant was in such control he was attempting a touchdown and down by his knee. Our win now is tainted much like the Cowboys was last week. Bullshit call.
There is no uproar. That's why we have reviews. The ground can cause an incomplete pass.
I thought the call was correct but I don't like winning that way (I'm a Packers fan).
Bryant could have tucked the ball into his body instead of reaching out for the goal line and he probably would have made the catch.
Having the ball in an outstretched arm with your knee hitting the ground does not automatically make it a catch per the rules, so the answer was option 1.
Just like last week!!!
Its called homefield advantage. Why else do you think the packers are in the playoffs!? Worse team in the playoffs but when you have home field advantage (aka referees) you get to win :)
Oh, but tell me now Cowboys fans!? Who was the better team!? HUH? Why couldn't you come back? Same way lions couldn't come back last week! Referees win ball games in the playoffs! Not athletic receivers.

Karma in a tainted, dirty sports league.
He caught the ball, took 3 steps, reached for the goal line. If that isn't a football move I don't know what is. However, calls are missed all the time and that's how it goes in the NFL. If Murray doesn't fumble he scores on that play and the game is over, that's where the tide turned.
Steps don't count when you're going to the ground.

When you're falling to the ground and you're putting one foot in front of the other as you're falling, that is not a football move

Steps aren't a move, you don't know the rule. This was a clear, easy call.
Still don't love the rule.
N.F.L. Rule 8, Section 1, Article 3, Item 1: Going to the ground. If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball after he touches the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete.
I've said for a while that I think we should come up with something more objective than "football move." Maybe a high profile incident like this will cause that
was not a catch by rule, but clearly i caught the ball and took 100% possession when i pulled it into my body, then outstretched my arm and lost control when it hit the ground. this seems to be the one problem with the "football move" rule. sometimes a guy makes the catch and simply doesn't have the opportunity to make a football move.
you see this all the time when a guy sits down in a zone, catches a short pass, goes to turn and has the ball knocked loose just before he turns to make the move. a lot of fumbles have been called back this way.
the verdict: correct call by rule, but clearly a catch.
i'm so glad i can vent on letsrun before i face the media.
I can agree with that. Certainly something that needs to be looked at in the offseason
