Hello LRC Mavens,
My wife needs new running shoes. She has a permanent locker at her gym and planned to keep one pair there and another pair at home. She asked me today if there was any logic to purchasing different types of running shoes for outdoor versus treadmill running. Since most of her running is on the roads or crushed gravel trails (still a hard surface and mostly flat) I couldn't think of any reason not to buy two pairs of the same shoes, but I thought I would ask all of you.
Do any of you select different types of shoes for treadmill and urban outdoor (non trail/cross-country) running? Thanks!
