What is the best show for 70-80 miles a week for someone with a high arch and plantar fasciitis?

You might wish to look at an insole, like Superfeet Green.
I was watching A Christmas Carol on TV the other day, and I think Scrooge really only needed one spirit. He was a changed man by the time the Ghost of Christmas Past was done.
Learning to run on my forefoot in XC flats is what cured my PF. I now only run in flats and have for years. I'm not saying that will work for everyone but it worked for me.
I found this worked best for me.

Second this. Racing flats and Birkenstocks ftw.

Third this. Kind of. I had PF for 10 months with no improvement. Started running barefoot, 20 mins a day on grass, cured within 2-3 weeks. And I tried strassburg sock, nigh splint, calf raises. Barefoot running on grass did the trick. And it's also not very painful during the actual run when you are barefoot.
I started running with a decent cardio base from cycling, but very weak feet from zero running history. I got shin splints, PF, and all those other maladies hard, since I was aerobically capable of running the miles, but didn't have the form or strength. I've used a two-part approach: strengthen the foot when I'm ok, and protect it when it's hurt.
When I'm not hurt, I wear very minimal shoes for at least a significant portion of my miles, and focus on clean form. This has had the effect of making me less susceptible to PF.
Several times, I've gotten flare-ups of PF that inhibit even walking. When I do, that is NOT the time to try and strengthen it! I throw a pair of high-arched insoles into my shoes, and it magically cures it, taking the load off the fascia. After a week or so, I'm able to wean myself off the insole, and go back to footwear that strengthens the foot.
Over the few years I've been running, the PF has almost completely faded, even as my mileage goes way up.
I don't know if I should go directly into racing flats. What shoe is recommended out of the kinvara free 5.0 and the skechers ride?
Roll out your calves a ton. You'll be surprised how much it helps
Work on your core strength. Also, hamstring and glute strength/utilization along with hip flexor flexibility.
Echoed in the article below:

Definitely roll and stretch your calfs! It will help ease the tension on the PF. Use flat shoes as your casual shoes and wear running shoes with a low heel drop. For the meantime an insert can help, but it won't cure it.

Nike Frees (I'd pick the 4.0s over the 5s) and Skechers GoRuns or Rides are all great. Kinvaras are stiff and aggravated my PF. Barefoot running is helpful too, but tough to do this time of year.
Do a mental list of pros who have suffered from PF and note their shoes....I'm pretty sure a lot of them were wearing Asics. Even in subelites circles around my neighbourhood I can name two people I run with who have PF and both wear Asics (one is sponsored by Asics and would love more than anything to wear something else but she can't).

Wouldn't taping suffice?
Not sure about best kicks, but wearing the Strassburg Sock at night helped me.
The anti-asics guy has his head so far up his wazoo. Oh c'mon you an really narrow it down to one shoe brand? It's all running shoe brands with a built up heel. They make one's foot be at a constant slope which places more strain on the plantar fascia. So all major running shoes brand do this not just asics. Furthermore, you will find that most, if not all, PF sufferers have some less than effective stretching routine. I suffered from PF for sometime when I used to run in Brooks. I switched to Adidas and it became worse. I switched to Nike and it proved no better. I ended up switching to flats for a while and a stretching program which eventually resolved it.
I now run in Nike, Asics, Mizuno, and Adidas flats without issue. Hell, even the GT-1000 from Asics works just fine.
for those who train in flats or light shoes, how many miles do you run?
a shoe isn't going to cure your Plantar fasciitis. Though I wouldn't recommend daily training in anything super light, racing, free kind of shoe.
Be diligent when it comes to rolling out. and no I don't mean stretching. stuff like firm rollers that really work your calves out it will make a big difference. If it's really bad think about support socks to wear while active and bracing at night.
Instead of worrying about a shoe, attack the issue head on
