These days, Fleshman has been running her mouth more than her legs. Come to think of it, besides Kate Grace and Kara's lack-luster marathon performance how much running and racing does the rest of the Oiselle flock even do? When was the last time Fleshman even raced? She seems to spend most days spouting off on twitter and commenting on everything and everyone under the sun..
Oh, yes. It is so bad that she would speak out on the evil that is Stephanie Hightower and some punk runner whose times are slower than hers would be offended.

Get a grip. Take a deep breath. Everything is going to be ok.
What is she jawing at now? Can't keep that ego down, can she?
what are they suppose to do to stay relevant when their legs are done?
Lauren is doing what she is paid to do, bring attention to herself and her sponsors. If she is not racing or racing well, another way to do it is via social media. Much of her audience is women because of her main sponsor, so it is of little surprise that much of the Letsrun audience (primarily young males) does not understand/care for, etc. her thoughts, ideas, messages, etc. Some of her content is clearly relevant to all (criticism of USATF). If you don't like what she has to say, ignore it. She will use all platforms she can to get her message across because that is what she is supposed to do as a sponsored athlete.
She ran sub 16 earlier this year and 33:32 at Peachtree. Nothing special but it's something.

Running needs more athletes to speak up. I like her just fine. She has all the credentials to speak up.
And your credentials? .....yea, I knew it

Yes!!! Agree.
Thank God for Lauren. She's great and she speaks the truth.
Thank you Lauren, I think you're doing just fine.
Hitler was elected Prime Minister by te majority of Getmans. He had better credentials in his field than Fleshman does in hers.
If you take Lauren Fleshmann as a whole, then you have to give her an A. Her authenticity and accomplishments more than allow for that. During 2016 she will start putting up some solid performances on the track scene. That being said, she needs to be careful how she leverages herself and position. As I stated above, my appreciation for Lauren stems from her authenticity; the more she tries to "make change" through her influence/politics, the less credible she will look in my eyes (and probably others). The ends doesn't justify the means. So far in her career Lauren has not gone that route, but I am afraid of the next few years...

Glad there is a reasonable voice here.

Actually, the Nazis never got more than 38% of the vote in any German elections.
Fleshman is one of the smartest and savviest people in the sport, and she's saying things that need to be said. Of course you blighted inferior clowns would somehow find this the basis for criticism. Dumb palookas.

Ignore this booger eater. He's just like the street roll who shit his pants and hustles for nickels while playing the same 8 notes on a stolen saxophone.
I just thank God that we can also ignore you. You're a blabbering idiot. She's not doing it for her sponsors numbnuts, she's OVERDOING IT for herself. If you can't see that, then you're really dumber than I thought. My I.Q., which you will say is irrelevant, is a mere 131. No, not genius, but a long way ahead of your peabrain. The OP is right, it's all about her and what she can gain, NOT the sport. She tried to wear her own company's logo at the NYC Marathon, knowing that it's against the rules. How arrogant is that to think that the rules don't apply to her. Running NYC for no other reason than to promote her own product...wow, Barrister you really are a peabrain.
