Talking best (major Am record, major medals, major marathon win, top world ranking) scant few from that list:Kenah (World Bronze)Krummenaker (World Gold)Todd Williams (no medals/major AR, but that 15k road AR - 42:20 is pretty impressive on that course)I'd go back a bit farther for best and lack of mentions:Mark Everett (World Gold, World Bronze)Jim Spivey (World Bronze)Rick Wohlhuter (Oly Bronze, AR 800, WR 880, Ranked #1 800 couple years, I believe)Mark Nenow (World Silver, AR 10,000)Do we ever talk about Lynn Jennings? She amassed only 8 major medals (3 World Cross Golds, 1 World Cross Silver, 1 World Cross Bronze, 1 Oly Bronze, 1 World Indoor Silver, 1 World Indoor Bronze, multiple ARs)

WTF are you talking about Nenow World Silver?
World XC silver. 2nd to Moses Kriptanui
Steve Spence. Bronze at the WC marathon on a brutal day with a great field. Claimed a lot of scalps on that day - Nakayama, Bordin, Moneghetti, Mekonnen, etc....

Ummmm, ever heard of Van Nelson?
Would you consider Ron Daws? He wasn't exactly considered the "best" but he did make an Olympic Marathon team.
