& RW to go from 12 issues per year to 11
& RW to go from 12 issues per year to 11
I haven't read RT for a year. It hasn't been the same since it was bought by Rodale.
RW is good for knowing what Norwegian scientists have proven by carrying out tests on rats and how [insert anything here] can increase endurance.
RW and RT are both cheap, and I like to support niche sport publications. They do have some good interviews and such in the back if you skip over the "5 great ways to do the exercise of the month" type of stuff. What annoys me, they post the full text of all the interviews and good unique content they do get online for free... seems like they're removing any reason for folks to pay $ for the magazine. I appreciate their coverage of enough stuff that I figure tossing $12/year their way is worth it, so hope this reduction in publishing is the beginning of the end for them.
Running Times is a good mag and the price is right. Well researched articles and I like the Masters Profiles, such as that of Lloyd Hansen in the most recent issue. Too bad it's only going to be published every other month now.
Recently started reading RT and was pleasantly surprised. Not much drivel, fair amount of interesting/useful content (especially compared to RW of course).
So if I recently renewed my subscription to RT for 3 years, 30 issues total, will I end up getting 30 issues over 5 years, or 18 total issues?
Also, based on this, what should my 5k pr be?
It will cost the same $ to produce 6 as 10 issues
U will get 18 (6x3) issues
UR 5k PR should be 18:21
