Age isn't just a number, we all know bekele isn't the same that he used to be. Is this still possible?

Bekele= Rupp-1 second
he hasn't been close to 26:30 shape in years. you'd think he could get back to sub 26:40 with Canova, but he's going to be doing marathon training, not 5k-10k specific work. Anyone who thinks that Kimetto can go 26:20 is crazy. He is trained specifically for the marathon and can hold an incredible pace for that distance without having low 26 speed.
Maybe it was at the beginning of this year, he mentioned he could return to the track this summer. It didn't happen. It could be an indication he's finding it hard to go back and forth between marathon and 10000m preparation. Or he got injured and we never knew. Or something else.

You don't know much abuout marathon training. The fast guys have 5000/10000 pace with added endurance.

Vague way to have an argument. He said Kimetto could not run 26:20 and he is right. If someone set a new track WR there marathon appearance money would go up massively, if they could they would.
Your reading comprension sucks. Try again.
