Hey all,
I'm having a lot of trouble with Posterior Tibial Tendinitis in my left foot. I've been off for a month now, and have thrown ice, copious amounts of ibuprofen, and sports massage at the problem, but the inflammation and pain do not seem to be going down.
Multiple doctors have told me that, based on their observations, I do not have a tear. Still, it doesn't make sense to me that the injury isn't recovering if there isn't one.
I have only been pool running occasionally - no other potentially aggravating forms of cross training. Furthermore, I have avoided calf/ankle-strengthening exercises thus far on my doctor's recommendation.
Any ideas or counsel? I'd love some help.
