From the trailers i'm interested, but so far it has mixed reviews. Here's the trailer in case you want to see it.

We should have a meetup in major running cities! Any Midwesterners? ;-)
Lou deserves the MoH for what he did personally to create the FREE WORLD we live in today.
eh...My 6th sense from the trailer tells me that its a badly made movie. Or maybe its just the fact that Angelina Jolie directed it. Plus I already wasted money on \"Fury\" which was a horrible movie despite respectable reviews.
If you are interested in the story, you should probably read the book. Because it sounds like an amazing story. Its incredible that the guy survived the crash and the Japanese prison camps.
I read the book. Lets just say some parts of it seemed pretty far-fetched. An amazing story nonetheless, but perhaps Mr. Zamperini embellished a little bit.
I'm glad that an runner from USC is confirmed as the greatest American war fighting hero of WW-II. Another USC alum, actor John Wayne, dodged WW-II hiding in gay bathhouses, while Zamp and millions sacrifcied their youth to bless the planet earth with Freedom and Democracy and The American Way.
Which parts? Care to be specific?
My great-grandfather says Zamparini survived because he learned elementary Japanese as a child in Torrance, Calfornia.
I'm pretty sure Audie freakin Murphy would have something to say about that.
He was a legend in his own time.....

Veteran Italian-American Louis Zamperini should be awared the Congressional Medal of Honor and named the Greatest American soldier of WWII. No other soldier did more to bring civilization to the entire world than Louis Zamperini.
