Is it possible? Can't really go outside much due to lots of snow. I've heard many people have had success from treadmill training. What do you guys think?

You should be able to stay/improve shape on the treadmill. Running is running!! As long as your running your getting better bud, just keep up the hard work.
Why would there be a limit to how fast treadmill running can get you?
because treadmill running isn't real running
The first guy to break 4 minutes for the real full mile did most of his training on an electric powered running simulator so I don't think 4:30 should be that difficult.
BUMP
Well, it all depends. You cannot really do VO2 max training (though I don't imagine you need to do much of it in the winter. The treadmill I have also only goes up to ten miles per hour, (6 min miles) so that might be a bit slow for your runs.
