Just needed to point that out.
Just needed to point that out.
Was anybody confusing the two? They have different names. Just based on the fact that both companies have the word "Boulder" in it?!?
In other news:
youtube.com and youporn.com are not the same website...
Boulder Road Runners is also not the Boulder Running Company, nor for that matter, is it the Boulder Track Club.

You don't say?
Note to Runner's World - It is German FERNANDEZ, not German HERNANDEZ.
Wait... who the F*CK is Boulder Running Company?

none of these 3 are the boulder striders
so in all seriousness, what is actually going on there? can't seem to figure out who trains with what coach, which clubs are good, etc, etc, etc. anyone have any insight?
Mark Wetmore is the only person in Boulder with any insight into anything.
Fact.
Boulder Track Club is coached by Lee Troop and has Laura Thweat among others. Boulder Running Company has a store-sponsored team that is also very competitive. Hudson Elite also has a group coached by Brad Hudson.
so then which group is better? any idea who runs for each group, and are either predominantly men or women?
also isnt steve jones coaching some group as well?
does anyone know if it's more marathon based, or do his guys do shorter stuff?

I didn't know Frank was coaching.
Steve Jones still coaches a group, but there isn't a website or contact info anywhere readily available.
who is in his group?
And adidas/Boulder Running Company, FYI, is not based in Boulder... its Colorado Springs. Confused yet?
Yes, very. So any idea who trains in what group and which are more competitive for what distances? Sigh.
Off topic, let's all agree to banish these terms from our lexicon:
Elites
Group
Guys like Bill Rodgers and J urek identified with the common runner.
Some of the very best trained alone. Imagine Bill, Frank and Joan being part of a group or, for that matter, being coached.
Also, to add to the confusion, Boulder Running Company is no longer Boulder Running Company. Those who live in Boulder will understand.
