The feel on both of the shoes will be pretty comparable, I would definitely recommend going to your local running store to try them both on.
As far as alternatives go you could always try the Newton Distance S, Motion, or Kismet. They've got a 2mm, 3mm, and 4.5mm drop respectively. The Motion and Distance S will feel more responsive than the Kismet.
Other alternatives would be the New Balance Fresh Foam's. I've used both the Mirage and Fresh Foam and they have a similar feel. You'll notice the Fresh Foam is completely neutral, but still has that 4mm drop.
The ASICS Gel Super J33 has a 6mm drop and is also a shoe you might wanna look at. I'd say its on the softer side compared with the rest of the previously mentioned shoes but it also has mild pronation control.
Finally, you might wanna look at the Hoka Huaka. It has a 2mm and although it's a Hoka, it's the most responsive shoes they have and definitely won't slow you down. As will all of the shoes I just mentioned, the best thing to do would go to your local running store to try em out.
Hope this helps.
