Hey guys, I'm a sophomore I recently ran 11:30 for the 3200 and 5:18 for the mile off of 35-50mpw. The only reason my 3200 is so slow is because i tripped during the last mile.
Is it possible to go sub-11 and sub-5 by the end of the season? And if so, what types of workouts should I do. I tend to fade during the second half of the 3200 and i need some advice on how to hold a strong pace.
I usually do a tempo run or a longer interval workout, a shorter interval workout, and a 90 min long run on the weekend. If any of you guys could give me some advice on improving, that would be very helpful. Thanks!
