Big time FAIL. I think his contract is roughly 600k this year. He'd better look to making a few more snicker commercials before his sun sets.

He can always get a contract as a backup and play for peanuts.
First starts:
Peyton Manning: 21/37, 1 td, 3 int, lost 24-15.
Tom Brady, 5/10, 0 td, 0 int, lost 10-3.
Aaron Rodgers, 8/15, 0td, 1 int, lost 48-3.
From the photos of the game it is clear that Mr. Manziel has never taken a steroid in his life.
He appear very thin compared to the steroid injected linemen who he has to try and avoid.
bottom line: he is too frail and light to make it.
They probably would love to trade him for a 1st round pick as they were able to do with Trent Richardson.

Jonnhy Futball is a winner. He pitches a shutout where the above three failed to do so.

That wasn't Rodgers first start... Favre started and Rodgers entered that game in the 4th quarter when they were already getting blown out.
Rodgers first start was a 24-19 win, 18/22 and 2 td (1 rush) 0 int
That wasn't Tom Brady's first start either... he went 13/23 0 td 0 int and won 44-13

You need to learn the definition of an NFL "start"

As a starter, Hoyer was 10-6 for Cleveland. While Manziel may become a good QB in the future, there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that would tell me he would be good in his first start with the team trying to make the playoffs.
Hoyer was in the league almost 4 years before he started one game for Arizona in 2012.
He was 19-34 225 yds with 1 TD and 1 INT
His first start with Cleveland last year (2nd ever) 30-54 321 yds 3 TD 3 INT
Bad game. But so many good QB's are bad early.

There can't be a team dumb enough to make that trade. It's way too early to make a judgment, but surely the coaches drilled into his head repeatedly that he can't scramble around and throw pop flies up for grabs in the NFL. Yet he was out there doing exactly that today. He's going to wash out quickly as a turnover machine if he keeps doing that stuff.
Big FAIL
Did he forget to eat a Snickers before the game?
I think it's always a bad idea to change quarterbacks mid season if your team is in playoff contention and the QB who kept you in contention is healthy.
That game eliminated the Browns from a shot at the division and virtually from any wild card chance.
Can anyone think of successful stories of a winning team switching quarterbacks without an injury and getting better?
I remember Flutie leading the Bills to the playoffs and they benched him to start Rob Johnson in the playoffs and they lost that game.
Jake Plummer had the Broncos in first place at 7-4 some years back and Shanahan benched him to start Cutler and they fell back and missed the playoffs.
They also missed the playoffs the next two years and the Broncos then got rid of both Shanahan and Cutler.
