I know what you mean. I can't breathe either.
The article says it took 10 minutes for the ambulance. According to the video that was BS. It was about 5. She would not have made it to the hospital much faster. Idiots should have called 911 for an ambulance instead of trying to speed to the hospital. Quit blaming cops for doing their job.
Nice comment here:
"According to the article, the hospital was only 2 minutes away, yet the cops called for EMS, which took over 5 minutes to get there.
What kind of MORON would wait for an EMS when the hospital is so close?
Wait. Don't answer that."
Arriving by ems will generally get you seen ASAP. Arriving by car.. eh, get in line.
Plus ems are trained to treat emergencies such as this.
Getting to a hospital does not equal getting treated at a hospital. Plus he might have wrecked and killed himself or others if he was in that bad of shape.
Corrected your title.
First they came for the young black men.
I don't think we should have officers with no more than a high school diploma deciding whether people live or die.
The minimum standards for police work are too low.

Arriving at the hospital unable to breath will get you seen immediately, regardless of how you arrived.
If the hospital was really 2 minutes away, an officer who was honestly trying to protect and serve (who also has the mental capacity to make good decisions in life-or-death situations) would have driven the man to the hospital with lights and sirens.

if their job is to kill people, then they seem to be excelling at their "job."

Probably worried about the lawyers...
Understandable, but that's why he has a union backing him up.

Yeah, quit blaming cops for doing their job - which is apparently to beat up, shoot, or otherwise harm or kill unarmed Americans.
What other job allows mental midgets & pus*ies to bully people with no consequences? Only in 'merica..
PS - the couple was 3 miles from the hospital when they were pulled over. Took 6 min for ambulance to get there & 2.5 for the EMTs to get patient ready for transport. And I'm sure the stress of being pulled over why you're dying & your wife is freaking out really helped..

Look everyone...A butt hurt black boy blinded by anger...that was Michael Brown's folly. The cops didn't kill this guy. Their decisions did. The decision to speed, to wait too long before going to the hospital to begin with. The girlfriend said he was having trouble breathing all day. At what point then do they decide this is an emergency that we need to speed to get there? Cop heard this. I wouldn't have let them go either.
I guess you can rationalize anything. His wife chose to speed, therefore he deserved to die. If only he'd made better choices.....
Have you ever exceeded 55mph?
