Wo ist Solinsky?
Was he smooth?
Repeat after rojo people, "Talent doesn't go away."
It hibernated in this case but it's still there!!!
Talent went away in Ryan Hall and Alan Webb's case.
Shouldn't some of these athletes be competing at the "main" event? i.e. US XC championships, leading up to the XC Worlds soon? c'mon. And clearly the top three, Fernandez and Hill among them (don't they train in the same Schumacher-coached professional stable? what gives...) were competing down to the wire. C'mon!
Really excited and hopeful that he continues on a good comeback. I think this is a really good start for him.

If talent doesn't go away why aren't Jim Ryun, Lasse Viren and Henry Rono still world beaters?
talent has a way of "hiding" if you train like an idiot or madman.

For a second, I read Ryan Hall instead of Ryan Hill. That would've been a shock...

It also has a way of changing every day for every person.
Every single aspect of the human body is constantly changing over time. To think that someone with prodigious talent at 20 years old will necessarily have great talent at 30 years old (even if healthy) is simply naive.
What happened to "talent doesn't go away," by that rule German should have won by 2 minutes
Is a back baby sort of like a food baby? Talent never does go away, it just changes form.
From twitter: "@BowermanTC: Side note: after 2 days of flight trouble @german_ferndz took a red-eye into JFK last night and got to PA at 9am. Still got 3rd. #Legend"
It's nice to see. I just want to see him healthy for two years. He is Still the most talented guy we have had in a long time.
Number 21, Ricky Flynn, missed it by this much!
He tried, but he just couldn't *steal* a win...
