Whats the hillgrade that is usually agreed upon to simulate running on the roads/trails?
idk about an agreed upon number but i generally go about 2% and it feels to be about the same effort as outdoors
If running faster than 7:00 per mile set treadmill to 1% and energy expenditure will equal outdoor running. Slower than that and the difference is negligible.
