Toughest damned 6-loss team in history
Toughest damned 6-loss team in history
MIZZOU! The ugliest win you can have! Alabama should have won that's for sure! Go Tigers! 😛
Georgia needs to creep into the playoffs. Here's how:
- Alabama v. Miss St. winner goes to 11-1, loser goes to 10-2.
- Missouri wins SEC Championship over Alabama or Miss St. Missouri goes to 11-2. Loser goes to 11-2.
Georgia sits pretty at 10-2 after winning over ranked Georgia Tech.
Four SEC teams have two loses. Which one goes to the playoffs?
Since Missouri beat the best the SEC West has to offer, a SEC West team cannot get into the playoffs. Since Georgia blanked Missouri 34-0, Georgia becomes the obvious top SEC team.
Arkansas is the best the SEC West has to offer? They went 2-4 in that division, try to keep up. Your trolling is getting lazy. Missouri has no chance against Alabama or Mississippi State. I was hoping Mizzou would lose so the SEC title game would be competitive. Oh well.

That won't happen, Bama will blow out Auburn in a revenge game today and then blow out missouri. However, I hope your scenario happens because if it does FSU, Oregon, TCU or Baylor, and Ohio St if they win out will be in. The the SEC apologists will be stuck with their thumbs up their butt wondering how this could happen. "ESPN said they are the best so how can they not be the best"
It would be interesting to see what would happen if Missouri wins the SEC Championship. I think Georgia will get in as the SEC rep.
They would have to jump 2/3- Baylor, TCU, and Ohio St who only have one loss. Also, the committee said it will take into account injuries when selecting and Gurley is done. Another thing to watch out for is if Arizona upsets Oregon again, with another quality win they would get in before a two loss SEC team

Read it again numbnuts - in his example Mizzou wins the SEC championship, so yes that would be the best the West has to offer. With comprehension skills like yours, you must be an SEC alum.
The best the SEC West has to offer will be either Alabama or Mississippi State. Neither of those two teams is named Arkansas. It makes sense that an SEC fan would become confused when thinking about Missouri becoming the overall SEC Champion.
With your posting skills you must be a douche. People make mistakes jackass. BTW, while I didn't attend an SEC school there are many fine institutions in that conference. Of course, loud mouth lrc trolls like yourself depend on baseless statements and conclusions to form arguments. The OP's scenario will not happen anyway so this thread doesn't matter.
Sorry, the 'third poster's' scenario, not the OP.
LOL, a non-SEC fan spewing nonsense that Missouri absolutely CANNOT win the SEC championship. Missouri was supposed to be a perennial doormat in the SEC. Unfortunately for SEC fans, Missouri has won the SEC East two out of the three years they have been in the conference. That WAS NOT ever going to happen--the SEC if too tough--, but happen it most certainly did.
Say all of this next week when you are a joke. Did you see last year's SEC championship game? The difference is Missouri was better last year. They lucked out being in the SEC East and drawing the 6th and 7th teams in the West division. They played one top 10-15 caliber team in the East and lost 34-0. They simply aren't good enough to beat a highly ranked SEC opponent. Maybe in future seasons but not now. I like the idea of you laughing out loud while being completely wrong.
The time has come for the SEC to be shutout of the championship. I would love to see how the media (ESPN) works hard to spin getting an SEC team (not named Missouri) into the four-team playoffs.
...if nonsense's nightmare comes true: Missoui, SEC Champions of 2014!
If Alabama and/or Mississippi State finish with one loss there would be no justification to 'shutout' the SEC. You might like that because you wouldn't have to watch an overrated P12 or B12 lose to an SEC school, which is what would likely happen. And probably will happen.
Ummm, if Missouri wins "the game" Alabama and Mississippi State will each have two loses. It is impossible, in this scenario, for one 'bama or miss st, to have only one loss. Where did you say you went to school?
No need to argue about all of this. Missouri is mediocre at best. They will be dismantled by whoever they play next week. I watched the Georgia game and Missouri didnt even want to be out there after the first half.
Four minutes to play: SEC powerhouse UGA is losing to unworthy GT, 21-17.
