The snow is coming Wednesday morning. By Saturday it should be fine.
The hills (in the woods) won't get as much snow and if they have to clear it off the start/finish area and the serpentine by the playground they can.
But really, in NY State from Thursday morning to Saturday morning- the snow could be completely gone.
It won't be warm enough to get rid of it and now they're saying up to 16 inches

"They" are saying up to 16 inches in Western New England and high elevations in the Taconics.
Poughkeepsie, where the meet is being held, is predicted to get 5-8 inches on Wednesday - and that's it.
And if it snows more....so what? It's XC. Quit worrying about the weather. It snows it snows. It doesn't it doesn't. REAL runners won't care.
This was challenging and fun. Embrace it!

The day before NXN NW there was probably 8 inches of new snow on the ground and they got the course running ok (times were slow but it seemed "fair")
I think getting to and from the meet will be more challenging than running it.
Bring it on!
