This looks like the perfect winter running shoe. I love the colors, too.

Yes it is nice but you must be an adi-rep as all you post is about Boost. Please just admit it when posting.

I thought the same thing for some time myself based on the frequency, but I can tell you we have no 'Shawn' at HQ. We do have a Shawn in U.S. where I worked for 15 years with adidas but that's definitely not his style. Of course I know 'Shawn' may not be his name...Anyhow, from my vantage point, he seems like a consumer based entirely on his comments. I could be wrong...
Good job on the new Glide ATR Geo.
Any updates on adiZero XT?
I'd like to have a TR version of my new Bostons with abit more bite, grip and upper pretection for the harsh NE weather.

As I've said before, I am NOT an Adidas rep. I have nothing to do with the company. But as a runner, I have never worn a better shoe than my Adidas Supernova Glide 6 with Boost. The ATR version of this shoe appears to have a much better sole for snow or off-road running. I am NOT brand-loyal, so if Nike, New Balance, Saucony, Brooks, etc. (I've worn all of them) comes out with something better than Boost, I'll jump at it.
And yes, Shawn H is my real name. I just use the initial on the last name for this forum. Look up my book on Amazon.com--Running: A Long Distance Love Affair. That's me.
As for the shoe recommendation, I'm basing that on the quality of the non-ATR version of the shoe, which you can now find online for about $90. If the ATR version's price comes down to under $100 (it's currently $130), I'll grab a pair. Come on, Adidas, drop the price--it's the same shoe, but just a different outsole.
Just an FYI to everyone here:
Shawn is posting these links through another website in which he gets a referral fee every time someone clicks on his link and then buys something.
It may be entirely possible that he has the shoes and loves them, but he isn't doing this completely out of the goodness of his heart and his love for adidas.
Don't get me wrong, I love the supernova glide. But I'm also not going to try to make money off it (outside of owning shares of ADDYY).
You are all free to make your own decisions on whether to buy through Shawn's links or not, but I think full disclosure on his part would be nice.

I wish what you are saying were true. I make absolutely nothing by linking ANY website, including Adidas. I am simply a fellow runner who has found an outstanding product, really likes it, and is recommending it to others. I repeat: I make NOTHING from any website. Another dumb ass with a false accusation.
So you're saying the website shareasale.com means nothing to you then?
All of your links redirect through that website.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. It means nothing to me, and I don't make one red cent from ANY website link I give OR one red cent if someone clicks on it. Now, I know that the Brojos DO receive something from people clicking on their links, and maybe that's an automatic feature of LRC. The links I provide NEVER show shareasale.com when I link them, but I see that they DO show shareasale.com once they're on LRC. I remember the Brojos saying that they receive money via ad links that people click on. Anyway, I repeat that I get nothing. I simply love the Adidas Boost line, and I've never been as enthusiastic about any company's running shoe line in all my 36 years as a runner.

XT gets boost in August 2015.

I wish you could see what I see for raw materials, labor, transport, etc., etc. Remember, if you shop wholesale, the retailer needs to mark up to a price so they can meet their profit margin needs to stay in business. Our own stores need to also charge the same retail price so that they do not undercut the wholesale stores. But, in the end, believe me or don't, these things aren't inexpensive to make.

I get that. And it is a great product. My judgment of how great is still pending because I haven't yet put enough miles (500+) on my Adidas Boost shoes to see if all Adidas' advertising claims are true. Will the Boost midsoles REALLY maintain their quality significantly longer than the EVA or other materials used by the other major running shoe companies? Will the Continental Rubber really last significantly longer than other manufacturers' outsole materials? Thus far, I think the only thing my Boost shoes have lost at all is perhaps a bit of cushioning from insole compression. They are definitely worth what I paid for them so far. (I bought them at an Adidas store in Lima, Peru, for 85 dollars and no tax.) When I say, "Adidas, drop the price," on the ATR version of the Supernova Glide 6s, I say it knowing that the price WILL, in fact, drop, probably this coming spring AFTER all the snow melts. I understand that the ATR has a more aggressive outsole than the regular version, which ought to lead to winter runners buying it over the regular version, at least until the weather changes again. The materials used in both versions are undoubtedly of comparable cost since it's the same shoe--unless of course you're going to tell us that there's some "Boost Plus" or "New and improved Boost capsules" in the ATR version. Anyway, it's a balancing act for Adidas: "Do we think more customers will go for the $130 ATR version when they already have the $90 regular version because they want a little better outsole for winter weather, or will they simply go with one of the other major shoe companies' trail shoes that cost much less?"
At this time I can simply say that you have a great product in Boost, and I'm really happy with it. Drop the price on the ATR version and you'll have another 100 bucks from me even though I already have the regular version. Otherwise, I'll pass until the price does drop. I think I'm pretty similar to your other Boost customers. As always, thanks for the info and for contributing to discussions about your products.
So did you end up getting the Glide Boost ATR ? I'm a big fan of the GB6 too and just tried the Energy Boost 2 ATR but didn't like it, like I hadn't liked the Adistar Boost last year, too "mushy", bad for (my) tendons. The EVA layer of the GB6 really makes a big difference.
I've just switched to my second GB6 pair after putting about 500 miles on my first pari. They still seemed ok but after trying the new one the difference was pretty obvious. I'd burnt through the Continental sole on the front outside (I suppinate a bit), the insole was really compressed as you note...and they were getting a bit smelly, hehe...
