Texas is not a good place to train for anything over 1500. The climate is great for sprinters and marginal for Mid D guys.

The coaching isn't there either.

I think it is obvious there are only 5 legit programs in America for D Guys.

Oregon, Stanford, NAU, CU, and Wisconsin.

No other programs really care about Distance Running.

This is true. Arkansas and OSU aren't even in the give a shitt about Distance Game anymore.

Obviously, BYU should be added to the mix. Portland and Syracuse as well.
