I'm a college sophomore, currently running 75 mpw. After a slightly disappointing cross season, naturally, I have already begun thinking about my training for the next few months and even next summer. Without risking burning out, what should my goal mileage be for indoors, outdoors, and even next summer? Is a goal of 85 mpw next summer too ambitious?
Note: I have never suffered from any sort of chronic running injury, I get plenty of sleep, eat pretty well,etc. I am about to start a week if complete rest from running after a long cross season.
