put a mini band around your ankles and do monster walks in all directions, side to side, front and back, marching.

A lot of runners have hip flexors that are too strong relative to their glutes. Just something to think about before you go working on your hip flexors.
Thanks for the concern. I'v actually spent a lot of time the past couple of months strengthening my hip flexors. They are strong as all heck now. But I recently realized that my main problem is that I can't hold my leg at 90/90 without my hip flexors quickly fatiguing (5 seconds or so/ little resistance I can break them). This translates to my running too. So I've decided to try to fix it.
