That is interesting because that is equivalent to a much better 10k time than his current 28:40~. He should ostensibly also have sub 1:50 800m speed, (being very reasonable and extremely generous here) so if he can utilize his endurance to stay in striking distance of the lead pack, he could threaten for the win. Big dark horse pick flying under the radar.
